Program Details

CCI is a 10-month missions and ministry training program designed to facilitate transformation, growth, learning, and immersing yourself in what it means to be a missionary and a follower of Jesus Christ! You will have the opportunity to be a part of impacting the world around you while serving others, growing in your life as a follower of Jesus Christ, and immersing yourself into the mission field.

Journey Team

  • Travel across our country and experience missions. Every month, we embark on a US missions trip to partner with other AG US missionaries across the continental United States and Alaska, averaging over 30,000 miles per year. While based in New Orleans, the Journey Team gives interns the opportunity to learn from missionaries across the nation and take part in ministry and missions in all dynamics, street evangelism, homeless ministry, youth and kids ministry, rural outreach, etc. Students will also have the opportunity to assist our pastors in telling the story of missions in the United States through media production.
    • 10-Month Internship: January-October
    • Ramp Up: August-October + January-October of the following year

Base Team

  • Our cities need Jesus! Interns who choose the Base Team Track, will be able to fold into the life and ministry of missionaries serving in a designated area. Right now, we have a Base Team in New Orleans, LA that is accepting first year interns, and an Alaska Base available to second year interns. Partnering with AG US missionaries and churches, interns will have the opportunity to take part in many missions opportunities within the heart of one of these cities. From street evangelism, homeless outreach, camps, and youth and kids ministry, interns have the opportunity to learn and serve as misisonaries. Base Team interns will also have the opportunity to join the Journey Team on a trip throughout their time in the program.
    • 10-Month Internship: January-October
    • Ramp Up: August-October + January-October of the following year

Phases of CCI Program

For interns who graduate Year 1 but would like to continue their journey with CCI, the next two years will take this form of training and empowering as we help to deploy you into whatever God calls you to do.

  • Year 1: Training Phase: The intern will spend this phase learning the various ministries and how to serve with excellence.
  • Year 2: Leadership Training Phase: The intern will be given the chance in this phase to experience leadership training in various ministry areas.
  • Year 3: Placement Phase: The intern will be given the opportunity to intern at one of our other ministry locations around the world. 

Cost

  • Journey Team:
    • 10-Month Track Total = $6,100 (Below is the breakdown)
      • Tuition: $350 per month = $3,500
      • *Required Alaska Trip fee (helps cover plane tickets, bush plane tickets, and luggage costs) = $2,500
      • *Required registration fee (covers CCI t-shirt, hoodie/sweatshirt, and cot) = $100
    • Ramp Up Track/13 months = $7,150 (Below is the breakdown)
      • Tuition: $350 per month = $4,550
      • *Required Alaska Trip fee (helps cover plane tickets, bush plane tickets, and luggage costs) = $2,500
      • *Required registration fee (covers CCI t-shirt, hoodie/sweatshirt, and cot) = $100
  • New Orleans Base Team:
    • 10-Month Track Total = $2,100 (Below is the breakdown)
      • Tuition: $200 per month = $2,000
